Introduction: | The French programme at Majura Primary School distills interconnected community and cultural perspectives. We engage with the international community through Francophone Week. Providing for a range of Learner types, the Year 3-6 program encompass; explicit LOTE skills (Languages Other than English), readers-theatre and Inquiry-based learning. There is an emphasis upon spoken French, where students are immersed with interactive, cultural activities and incursions. These include Villers Bretonneux ceremony and research, French National Day historical awareness and bi-lingual-theatrical experiences. | |
