The Arts
Introduction:	The Arts at Majura Primary School are taught using the Australian Curriculum. We have two Arts teachers and two Music teachers who work with all classes from Preschool to Year 6 weekly. Students demonstrate elements and skills through a variety of opportunities to perform and display their artworks. ‘Art is a place for children to learn to trust their ideas, themselves and to explore what is possible’- Maryann F. Belief statement:	At Majura, we believe that all students are capable of creating and performing amazing works of art. Students are exposed to a variety of art elements and skills through arts focused lessons that can translate to many other areas of the curriculum. Students are exposed to the elements of music, drama, dance, media and visual arts through fun and engaging activities.
